The Frontiers Programmes aim to address the major challenges facing humanity today, and in the future through supporting cutting edge research and innovation, focusing especially on encouraging cross border and disciplinary research. This is done through building a pipeline of researchers, practitioners and innovators who are working to tackle global development challenges.
Frontiers symposia allow participants to build networks that can be transformative - not only to tackling the global goals or to lives of people around the world, but also to the career and opportunities of the participant.
Frontiers Seed Funding is offered following each Frontiers event to new collaborations and ideas generated throughout the symposium.
Frontiers Follow-On Funding is available to previous seed funding awardees to continue to collaborate and develop seeded projects into fully functioning collaborative research projects.
Frontiers Champions programme awards grants to any previous Frontiers event participant to convene a network of their peers through regional or thematic events that provide a focal point for an international community of researchers, innovators and practitioners.
Frontiers Impact grants offer up to £5,000 over one year are designed to support previous Frontiers grant awardees in sharing the positive impact of their grant activities.
